On August 10, during the Tencent Video Conference, Perfect World Animation officially announced the theatrical version of their animation to be released this year, and along with this, they also released a new poster along with a new trailer. The trailer shows much better pictures quality amd even more thrilling fights scenes.

Huo Ling’er Tortured by the Priest

In the trailer, it hints at a challenging time for heroine Huo Ling’er because she is shown in a dire situation – tied up by a women and hanging from a pole. Huo Ling’er appears unconscious, as her eyes are closed, suggesting that if she were awake, she would probably be struggling to break free.

The identity of the woman who captured and tortured Huo Long’er appears to be the high priestess of Lihuo City in the Upper Region. Notably, this High Priest character was not present in the original novel. Huo Ling’er initially considered the High Priest to be good person and recognizing her immense power she tried to follow her. However, she was betrayed, leading to her being tied to a piller by the very person she trusted.

Shi Hao Fought for Huo Linger’s Life

The film’s trailer reveals that Shi Hao becomes aware of the danger facing his future wife Huo Ling’er after she is captured by the high priest. Although he knew it was dangerous, Shi Hao decided to face the danger ahead, and went to the high priest to ask for her. The high priest obviously knew that Shi Hao would come, the high priest strategically placed several guards along Shi Hao’s path to stop him from reaching Huo Ling’er.

If they were strong enough, they could have kill Shi Hao on the spot. In the trailer, as Shi Hao enters an alley, ambushers reveals themselves and attempt to surround him. However, they are no match for Shi Hao, and after being defeated, they immediately surrender to him.

However, Shi Hao was surprised by the fact that the High Priest had raised a large number of enemies against hum, leaving him no choice but to fight to save his future wife Huo Ling’er. The High Priest, knowing that Shi Hao would not give up , she had placed many opponents in his path to wear him down. Hoping that when he finally arrived he would be powerless to oppose her.

Fight with Powerful Forces

In the trailer, we can clearly see that several new and formidable characters have appeared, each of them seems to be very powerful, and they have a strange aura on them. These figures maybe comes from upper realm, that is, the people behind the high priest.

In order to save Huo Ling’er, Shi Hao had no choice but to fight these powerful people. Because only by defeating them can Huo Linger be saved. In the end, after a tough battle, Shi Hao finally defeats these powerful forces and finally rescue Huo Ling’er.
