The series “The World of Immortals” is an action, fantasy donghua adapted form novel of the same name written by Chen Dong with a total of 688 chapters. The writer from the very popular donghua series- “Perfect World” and “Shrouding the Heavens” and Tomb of the Fallen God”.

The series is being produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures with the popular animation studio Qingxiang Culture which has also produced Apotheosis (Become a God) Season 1&2.

It has been over a year since it was announced last year at the Animation Festival and fans have been anticipating its arrival. The wait is finally over, as official animation team confirmed on Donghua’s Weibo Account yesterday along with the final poster that the series will begin airing from Oct 29, 2024.

Main male Protagonist –

Xiao Chen is the main protagonist of the series. Since the animation “The World of Immortals” is about to release, several new trailer have been released. A close comparison reveals that Xiao Chen’s character modeling has significantly improved as compared to the model shown in the announcement trailer last year. His facial features are sharper and more attractive, he is wearing a black suit with a dark blue robe on the outside. He has a long hair with middle parted bangs, wears armor and carries a long sword. Overall, he is quite handsome.

First Main Female Character –

Xiao Chen’s first love and symbol of purity, Ruoshui. Unfortunately, their fate is a bit tragic. Sadly, they do not end up together as she is eventually possessed by someone else and died. In the trailer, Ruoshui is seen in a long, dark green dress, made of partially transparent white gauze. She displays a gentle, considerate demeanor, epitomizing the sweetness and purity of a noble lady.

Second Main Female Character –

In addition to the beautiful Ruoshui, there is also formidable Zhao Liner, who is considered the most beautiful woman in Jiuzhou. As an imperial goddess with great ambitions, she has a great hatred for Xiao Chen. In the trailer, Zhao Lin’er is depicted wearing a pink long skirt, line with white gauze. while her golden shoulder armor and accessories emphasize her noble status. with sharp and noble facial features she holds a long sword, symbolizing a cold, majestic presense.

Synopsis-

The series “The world of Immortals” tells the adventurous journey of the protagonist Xiao Chen. He was teenager from Zulong Village. Xiao Chen was chased by the royal goddess Zhao Lin’er and accidentally strays into the Wild Dragon Island in the Immortal World. In this world, hundreds of powerful races dwell, their strength rivals that of Gods. Xiap Chen made many friends and encountered many powerful enemies. He went through hardships, continued to grow and fought fiercely with various forces.
