This new upcoming donghua is an action, adventure, and fantasy genre donghua series adapted from the novel of the same name, written by Mu Xiao San Sheng. The animation “Tian Yuan” or 天渊 was recently announced during the iQIYI Animation World Conference 2025. With its engaging story and impressive 3d animation, the project is set to offer a new and exciting take on the original novel.

Production And Studio
The animation Tian Yuan or Abyss of Heaven is being produced by Iqiyi Animation with new animation studio – Yumao Wenhua.
According to Douban’s upcoming animation list, the anticipated animation “Tian Yuan Animation” or “Abyss of Heaven” is currently scheduled to be released in 2026. The series is expected to have a total of 52 episodes, although this number has not been officially confirmed. The final episode count will ultimately depend on the official release.
